Tonight's sunset was spectacularly beautiful, due to the intricate layers of cloud formations and the colors.   The beautiful cloud eagle soaring south over the city was created by condensed water vapor coming from airplane engines.  They are called contrails, short for condensation trails, and are made up of water drops or ice crystals.  They usually form above 26,000 feet and at below -40 Fahrenheit.
